Winger sued over car crash

Debra Winger is facing legal action after allegedly injuring a man in a car crash, say reports.

Frank Pinto has claimed that the Terms Of Endearment star caused him "serious injury" after she collided into a vehicle he was a passenger in last December in Westchester, New York, according to Contact Music.

Pinto has filed a $1 million (£663,000) lawsuit in a Bronx Superior Court against Winger, the owner of her car as well as the person who drove the car he rode in.

Winger has been nominated for three Academy Awards for her film work in Shadowlands, Terms Of Endearment and An Office And A Gentleman.
