Hurley 'loves sexy countryside'

Elizabeth Hurley has said that she prefers her Gloucestershire estate to her London home because the country is "sexier" than the city.

The model told Tatler that there is an undercurrent of sexuality running through the British countryside.

Hurley said: "'I wouldn't mind betting that there's less sex in the city than there is in the country because it's just well, sexier here.

"To me people look sexier in the country. Take builders for example. The lot who recently did my stable conversion were so gorgeous that friends from London used to travel down just to flirt with them."

She added that there are "no prizes for guessing" why country homes have "warm, possibly fluffy, rugs in front of their fire", as hers does.
