Gisele Bundchen has admitted that she was unaware of a reported shooting during her wedding to Tom Brady in Costa Rica.

Two photographers have claimed that they were targeted by the supermodel's security guards for failing to surrender their camera equipment as they waited outside her villa last month.

Speaking to People, she explained: "We were all there and nobody heard anything.

"The next day people were calling, and I'm like, 'I don't know what you're talking about'. I didn't even know it was happening. Later on, I was like, 'What? What happened on my day?'"

Police later confirmed that an investigation into the alleged event would take place after an official complaint was made, but admitted that it was unlikely that the celebrity couple would be held responsible.

Bundchen and Brady's Costa Rican celebrations marked their second nuptials after they tied the knot in a secret ceremony in California in February.
