Beyoncé said: "I'm really trying not to put anything on my calendar for a year from now - because I've never not had that."
She added: "There are certain things where I can back off - it can get to a point where it's out of your control. Things are going to happen. You have to roll with it. And I wish that I could be that way all the time.
"I've worked with some people who are way worse, I have to say. So I'm not as much of a control freak as some. But I am more of a control freak than most. That's being very honest."
Beyoncé recently revealed plans to take a two-year break from showbusiness.
