Beyoncé: 'I'm a control freak'

Beyoncé Knowles has admitted to being a "control freak" with regards to her music and acting career.

The star told The Times that she has tried and failed to take time off from work in the past.

Beyoncé said: "I'm really trying not to put anything on my calendar for a year from now - because I've never not had that."

She added: "There are certain things where I can back off - it can get to a point where it's out of your control. Things are going to happen. You have to roll with it. And I wish that I could be that way all the time.

"I've worked with some people who are way worse, I have to say. So I'm not as much of a control freak as some. But I am more of a control freak than most. That's being very honest."

Beyoncé recently revealed plans to take a two-year break from showbusiness.
