Katie Price and Peter Andre confirm split

Katie Price and Peter Andre have confirmed speculation they are splitting after nearly four years of marriage.

The couple, who met during I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!, had previously denied reports that their relationship was crumbling.

In a statement, a representative for the family confirmed the split, adding: "They have both requested that the media respect their families’ privacy at this difficult time."

They are parents to three-year-old Junior and Princess, one, as well as Price's six-year-old son Harvey from a previous relationship.
