Trump to decide if Prejean keeps title

Miss USA contest owner Donald Trump will decide if Carrie Prejean will keep her title as Miss California today, the pageant's directors have announced.

Despite that no official decision regarding Prejean will be reached until later today, Miss California directors Shanna Moakler and Keith Lewis have already appointed runner-up Tami Farrell as the organisation's official ambassador for their newly launched Beauty Of California initiative, E! reports.

"If Miss California is unavailable...we now have an ambassador that can represent us so we can just get back to business," Lewis said.

Recent topless photographs of Prejean that surfaced on the internet, as well as her position as a spokeswoman for the National Organisation For Marriage, have violated her contract with the Miss California contest.

"For us, the severity of the nudity is not the issue. The fact that she entered the contest under false pretense is," Moakler said.
