Katie Price: 'Split is Pete's decision'

Katie Price has said that the decision to end her marriage was made by her husband Peter Andre.

The couple, who met on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2004 and married in 2005, announced their separation yesterday.

In a statement, Price said: "Pete is the love of my life - and my life. We have children together and I am devastated and disappointed by his decision to separate and divorce me, as I married him for life.

"I will always love Pete. This is not what I want and the decision has been taken out of my hands. I will not comment further or do any interviews regarding the separation but I will always love my Pete."

Price and Andre have two children together, three-year-old Junior and one-year-old Princess Tiaamii, as well as Price's six-year-old son Harvey from a previous relationship with footballer Dwight Yorke.
