Katona: "I'm a bit of a bitch"

Kerry Katona has claimed that she comes across as a "bitch" on her new reality show.

The former Atomic Kitten singer, whose latest TV series examines her struggle living with bipolar disorder, admitted that her husband Mark Croft is shown in a more positive light than she is.

"Well, as you can see I do go a bit over the top. I think Mark came across like a saint in that and I'm a bit of a bitch," she told Heat.

"I'm on new medication: I'm up and awake, but I'm much snappier. I can't help my mood swings, it's just the way it is."

The 28-year-old added that she has used violence against her husband on occasion.

"I've hit him a few times, but that's never got on camera. I walloped him; I just snapped. My temper just goes," she said.

"I don't hit him hard, I've never hurt him, and he could hit me a lot harder. And I know it's wrong, but if he ever done it to me it would be a different story."
