Morgan criticises 'stupid, naive Fry'

The Britain's Got Talent judge wrote on his blog that Fry was wrong to draw a moral equivalence between MPs' claims and those made by journalists.
Morgan said: "For a supposedly very bright man, Mr Fry emerges from this stance in an extremely stupid, naive way.
"Taxpayers do not pay journalists' expenses... Taxpayers do, however, pay MPs' expenses. That is why they feel so outraged by the disgusting scale of sheer larceny committed by these elected officials."
He added: "Fry is guilty of pathetically pompous grandstanding, and a staggering lack of understanding of both the issue and the very genuine anger felt by the cheated, thieved public.
"Shame on you, Stephen. I thought you were smarter than that."
