Price, Andre 'couldn't survive the media'

Katie Price and Peter Andre were destined to part because of their continued existence in the media, it has been claimed.

TV presenter Gail Porter told ITN that she was still surprised by the couple's decision to separate.

Porter said: "They're living their life in the media. How on earth can you possibly survive? But, I'm still shocked. I did think they'd stick together cos it's more like a comedy double act kinda thing."

Fellow I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! alumnus and Radio 1 DJ Tony Blackburn expressed similar sentiments.

Blackburn told PA: "When you live your life so much in the media like that I think it's just impossible really."
