Steve Jones, Panettiere 'strike up friendship'

Steve Jones has reportedly struck up a friendship with Heroes star Hayden Panettiere.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple were spotted having dinner together at the Nobu Berkeley restaurant in Mayfair, accompanied by a group of friends including David Furnish.

The T4 presenter then escorted Panettiere, 19, into a taxi as they headed towards a private house party nearby. He was spotted leaving the bash by himself a few hours later.

Jones, who split from fellow TV presenter Fearne Cotton last November, has previously been linked with Hollywood stars Halle Berry and Pamela Anderson, while Panettiere parted ways with Heroes co-star Milo Ventimiglia in February.
