Midler gives Aniston 'dating tips'

Bette Midler has admitted that she would like to offer Jennifer Aniston some dating tips.

The comedienne, 63, said that she is ready to play matchmaker for the actress, 40, People reports.

Midler said: "She needs an exciting guy, like a race car driver. I think she needs somebody who cherishes her, but also somebody who's going to give her a run for her money."

The Beaches actress also weighed in on two of Aniston's exes, Vince Vaughn and John Mayer.

She revealed that she had "high hopes" for the Friends star and Wedding Crashers actor, however was less opinionated regarding the on-again/off-again aspect of Aniston's relationship with Mayer, but "read a few of the blogs" that chronicled their dating life.

"She should find somebody who is really hot who's not in showbusiness. Somebody with a lot of money, and she should live the large life and forget about these a-holes. She's a great girl. She's got everything going for her," Midler added.

Her Las Vegas revue The Showgirl Must Go On celebrates its 100th show on June 7, and she recently revealed that she would like to duet with rapper 50 Cent.
