Aniston turned down marriage proposal

Jennifer Aniston has revealed that she once turned down a public proposal of marriage.

The star of the upcoming film Management said that an ex-boyfriend of her's took drastic measures in an attempt to win her back, Ask Men reports.

The actress worked as a waitress before her acting career got off the ground, and was "horrified" when the unnamed man showed up to her workplace with his mother in tow.

She said: "I broke up with a guy and he tried to get back together with me by bringing his mother to a restaurant I worked at, and getting down on one knee in the middle of the restaurant. The whole restaurant started applauding and I was like, 'Get up!' It was horrible!"

The Friends star recently broke up with beau John Mayer and has said that she enjoys her single life.
