Jacko doctor: 'Skin cancer claims false'

Rex Features

A doctor claiming to be Michael Jackon's spokesman has denied reports that the pop legend has been diagnosed with skin cancer.

Dr Tohme Tohme told the New York Daily News that yesterday's claims that Jackson had the disease were "not true".

It was reported that spots of skin cancer were found on the star's upper body, along with pre-cancerous cells on his face.

Tohme said: "He is great. He is in perfect health...he doesn't have any diseases whatsoever."

Jackson kicks off his 50-date O2 residency on July 8.
