The 24-year-old was rumoured to have visited Farrah Fawcett on Friday, according to Contact Music.
However, the LAPD have refuted the claim that the son of Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal was granted a leave from rehab and allowed off-property.
Sheriff Department spokesperson Steve Whitmore said: "Redmond O'Neal did not visit Farrah Fawcett."
William Slattery, his attorney, added: "I can tell you one hundred per cent, it's not true that Redmond is visiting Farrah" .
O’Neal, who was able to visit the former Charlie’s Angels star last month, has entered a year-long rehabilitation programme in an attempt to have two drug charges erased from his record.
