Katie Price thanks fans for support

Katie Price has thanked fans for their support following her split from husband Peter Andre.

The former glamour model confirmed that she was separating from Andre last week, after nearly four years of marriage.

Writing on her Twitter account, she said: "This is such an awful time for us and I really appreciate all your messages and support."

Price has kept a low-profile since news of the separation broke, fleeing to the Maldives with her two youngest children, three-year-old Junior and Princess, 1. Last week, she claimed that she was keeping a "dignified silence" and that quotes attributed to her by the media were false.

Earlier, it was reported that the estranged couple had set up a meeting to discuss the future of their children, including Price's six-year-old son Harvey from a previous relationship.
