Houghton: 'Katie treated Pete like sh*t'

Chantelle Houghton has claimed that it was "inevitable" that Katie Price and Peter Andre's marriage would not last.

The Celebrity Big Brother winner said that their relationship was doomed because Price was so openly cruel towards Andre.

"I think it was inevitable. You could see they weren't happy and it always seems like she treats poor Pete like sh*t," she told Heat.

Houghton went on to criticise Price for the way she had treated her following her divorce from Ordinary Boys singer Samuel Preston in 2007.

"Even though Jordan slated me when I got divorced, I know how hard it is," she said.

"So now I hope she will realise when you're going through such a hard time it's not nice when people put the boot in."

Price recently thanked her fans for supporting her since her split from Andre last week.
