Hargitay: 'I’m back to my old self'

Mariska Hargitay has revealed the reasons behind her recent health issues.

Earlier this year, the 45-year-old actress suffered a partially collapsed lung but had been quiet about the nature of her condition, People reports.

"I've been doing my own stunts on the show for 10 years. I fell wrong, basically. I collapsed my lung doing a stunt," she said.

The Law & Order: SVU star underwent surgery in January before being re-admitted to hospital in March.

"I'm 100 per cent," she added. "I'm back to my old self."

Contract negotiations between Hargitay, Christopher Meloni and NBC regarding pay increases for the lead cast members are still in process.
