Judge: ''Pledge This!' lawsuit valid'

A judge in Miami has decided that the lawsuit against Paris Hilton involving her movie Pledge This! will not be dismissed.

US district judge Federico Moreno ruled that there are enough issues in dispute in the case for a trial to begin on June 8.

The film's producers claim that the heiress didn't live up to her contract to promote the movie, costing investors $8.3 million. Hilton has said that she did her best to publicise the film and that producers made unresonable demands for her time.

Moreno revealed that one matter in the case is whether the Simple Life star was too busy or decided not to market Pledge This! because she hated the movie.

He added that another point is whether or not promotion would have impacted on the success of the flick.
