Mum: 'Grigorieva didn't break up Gibsons'

Oksana Grigorieva's mother has labelled accusations that her daughter broke up Mel Gibson's marriage as "rubbish".

Lyudmilla Chernukha told People that despite announcing their divorce earlier this year, Gibson separated from his wife three years ago, long before her daughter began dating the Lethal Weapon star.

"He was no longer with his wife so he was bound to meet some woman at some point, it just happened to be Oksana," Chernukha said.

The 39-year-old's parent also admitted that she couldn't "say anything" about reports that Grigorieva is pregnant with Gibson's child.

"Wait for the official statement from them," she added.
