The studio previously featured a robotic King Kong but it was destroyed last June when roofers using a blow torch accidently started a fire.
The new King Kong attraction will be based on Peter Jackson's 2005 film, The AP reports.
It is understood that guests will ride trams into a sound stage before watching the giant ape fight huge bats and dinosaurs on the movie's Skull Island through a 3-D projection.
It is expected to open in the summer of 2010.
