Sean Penn files dismissal for divorce

Sean Penn has reportedly filed for a dismissal of his second divorce case from actress Robin Wright.

Marin County, California court records show that the actor requested on Thursday that his legal separation be dropped, People reports.

The couple originally began court proceedings in December 2007 after 11 years of marriage. In April 2008, their first divorce case was dismissed.

"This appears to imply that they're reconciling again. It's unlikely Sean Penn would request a dismissal for any other reason," an LA divorce attorney said.

Penn and Wright are yet to officially comment.
