Chris Martin: 'Lily Allen terrifies me'

Chris Martin has admitted that Lily Allen makes him feel like a terrified schoolboy whenever the pair meet.

The Coldplay singer, who scooped the gong for best-selling British song at last night's Ivor Novello awards, claimed that Allen has the ability to wrap men around her little finger.

"Lily Allen is fantastic," he told The Mirror. "She's one of those people who is so cool that whenever I meet her I feel like I'm back at school and none of the girls like me anymore.

"She has the ability to make any boy feel like a tosser."

Meanwhile, N-Dubz rapper Dappy recently conceded that he was "too scared" to talk to Allen backstage at Radio 1's Big Weekend in Swindon.
