Price: 'I'd take Andre back tomorrow'

Katie Price has confirmed that she is hoping to win back her estranged husband Peter Andre.

The celebrity couple announced that they were splitting after three-and-a-half years of marriage earlier this month.

Reports have since claimed that the pair are locked in "explosive" rows as they continue to battle over their children.

However, speaking to the News Of The World, Price insisted: "I'll take Pete back tomorrow. I'll drop the divorce if he gives me another chance."

She continued: "If only I could turn back the clock. I've made the biggest mistake of my life and it's all my own fault. If I'd known I was driving Pete away so badly I would have pulled myself back. I don't want a divorce, I just want us back as a family again."

The ex-glamour model recently met with Sir Paul McCartney's former divorce lawyer Fiona Shackleton to consider her options.

Discussing the experience, she added: "I feel pushed into this. The only reason I saw lawyers is because I felt I had no other choice. I've had to prepare myself for what might happen and not show everyone that I am weak. But I don't want that to happen. I want us to try again. How did I feel in that lawyer's? Awful. Distraught."

Price and Andre met during the third series of I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004. They started dating shortly after leaving the jungle.
