Andre tells Price: 'It's too late'

Peter Andre has turned down a plea from his estranged wife Katie Price to give her another chance, today's reports say.

The former glamour model recently confirmed that she was hoping to win back Andre after the couple split following three-and-a-half years of marriage earlier this month.

According to the Sunday Mirror, Price sent the singer a text message saying that she wanted to reunite - only hours after meeting with a divorce lawyer to discuss her options.

However, Andre, who spent time with the pair's three-year-old son Junior and daughter Princess, 1, for the first time in twelve days in Brighton yesterday, told Price: "I wish you had heard my pleas when we were married."

A friend added: "Despite what she was saying about wanting him back, Pete has drawn a line under the marriage. The wounds are all just too raw.

"He said, 'I will always love her. She's the mother of my children. She won't find another man who will love her like I do. But it just couldn't go on'."
