Young Rossellini 'tortured paparazzi'

Isabella Rossellini has revealed that she spent her childhood "torturing" the paparazzi, reports say.

The Blue Velvet star is the daughter of actress Ingrid Bergman and director Roberto, whose marriage attracted much press and media attention.

The 56-year-old admitted that she and her siblings would often wage a "war" with photographers.

"The paparazzi were always there. We threw stones at them. And water," she is quoted as saying.

"We had a war with them. My mother was just like, 'Stop! Stop! They will think I have some savage children and it will be my fault!' But we had a ball torturing them."
