Meg White marries Jackson Smith

Meg White has married her fiance Jackson Smith in Nashville, it has been reported.

The White Stripes drummer tied the knot as part of a double wedding on Friday in fellow bandmate Jack White's backyard, Access Hollywood reports.

Jackson is the son of punk singer Patti Smith and the late Fred 'Sonic' Smith, who played guitar for MC5.

The other couple who wed were Jack Lawrence - bass player in Jack White's The Raconteurs - and his girlfriend Jo McCaughey.
