Chris Brown: 'I ain't a monster'

Chris Brown has appeared in a video on rapper Bow Wow's Justin.tv video page telling fans that he "ain't a monster".

The singer has issued few public comments prior to the video about his ongoing trial for an alleged assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna, previously saying he was "sorry and saddened" by the incident in his only other public statement, Rolling Stone reports.

"Everybody that's haters, they've been haters. All my real fans, I love ya'll," Brown said in the video.

He also denied reports that he was given a black eye as retaliation from a member of Jay-Z's or Rihanna's entourage.

"All the blog sites are liars. No black eye," the musician said.

Brown also announced that his new album will be titled Graffiti and that it should be "coming soon", adding that a single should be out sometime this summer.
