'ER' star Nagra gives birth to boy

ER star Parminder Nagra has given birth to her first child, reports Us Weekly.

The actress, who plays Dr Neela Rasgotra in the NBC show, delivered son Kai David Singh Stenson on Tuesday.

A representative for the star, who married boyfriend James Stenson in January, confirmed that "mother, daddy and baby are all doing great".

Nagra rose to fame opposite Keira Knightley and Jonathan Rhys Meyers in Bend It Like Beckham, before landing a role in the long-running medical drama.
