The iconic British artist told The Guardian that she used a collection of vintage pornographic magazines for a piece in her new exhibition and admitted that she "got some funny looks" when buying them.
Of her career, Emin said: "It always was about sex, not money. Sex was what held me in bed and got me out of it again in the morning.
"But now it's fading fast. I don't have the same craziness about sex that I had - I'm more interested in ideas."
Emin rose to fame as part of the Britart movement with pieces including her appliquéd tent Everyone I Have Ever Slept With 1963-1995 and the 1999 Turner-prize nominated My Bed.
