Seann William Scott praises Brit comedy

Seann William Scott has revealed that he prefers British comedy to programmes made in the US.

The American Pie star told thelondonpaper that he is a big fan of classic British shows as well as more modern successes.

Scott said: "Ricky Gervais is my favourite comedian. I've seen every episode of The Office about 50 times. I also love Monty Python and Peter Sellers.

"I'm not too hot on American comedy, though. You guys do it better."

He added that he thinks he will be remembered as "one of the few actors who would do anything on film to get a laugh, no matter how disgusting it was".
