Dad: 'Lohan has another chance now'

Lindsay Lohan's father has claimed that she has been given a second chance in her career after she landed a role in an upcoming movie.

The Mean Girls star has signed on to appear in fantasy-comedy The Other Side, which will mark her first big screen role since 2007's I Know Who Killed Me.

Speaking to E! News, Michael Lohan said that he is happy that his daughter "has another chance now" but warned that she will only succeed if she stays away from ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson.

"If Sam does come back in her life, it is all going to go downhill," he said.

Lohan parted ways with the DJ last month, although the couple have since sparked rumours of a reconciliation after the actress was spotted spending time at Ronson's LA. home.
