Clooney and Hanks are among the 500 actors who signed a statement on Friday that "wholeheartedly" approved that SAG's 120,000 union members should vote 'yes' on the new labour contract.
According to WENN, the Screen Actors Guild and top studio executives were engaged in a nine month negotiation period over actors' pay, concerning advertisements on the internet.
Currently, both parties are voting on a new deal with results expected in June.
