Lopez 'worried about forgetting how to act'

Jennifer Lopez has joked that she worried about forgetting how to act when she decided to take a break from the silver screen.

The singer and actress is currently filming The Back-Up Plan in Los Angeles, her first movie role since 2006's El Cantante opposite husband Marc Anthony.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she said: "The few days before, I got really nervous. I was like, 'What if I forgot how to act?'"

Lopez, who gave birth to twins Max and Emme last February, went on to say that she is enjoying being able to bring her children to work.

"Honestly, one of the best days of my life was the first day back working on this film," she explained.

"I wanted to do this film really badly and bringing my babies with me that first morning, I was like, 'Oh my God, they're with me, I'm making a movie, they're here!' It's great having kids on set. It's the best."

The Back-Up Plan is scheduled for release next year.
