The 48-year-old had entered the North London clinic five days ago after feeling physically and mentally exhausted following the final of Britain's Got Talent.
Speaking on GMTV, the singer's sibling Gerry confirmed that she had left the facility and was feeling "much happier" and "a lot more like herself".
"Things are becoming clearer for her now. She's now beginning to believe that, 'Yes indeed, I will be a singer,'" he explained.
Recent reports had suggested that Boyle may have needed to remain in the facility for weeks, after a clinic doctor claimed that a short-term stay was "a failed admission because either it was unnecessary in the first place or the job hasn’t been done fully".
Her brother went on to insist that his sister still intends to pursue a career in singing and admitted that he is confident that judge Simon Cowell is the right person to guide her.
"He's been around the dancefloor a few times," he said. "I'm sure he will do a good job for her."
Boyle is now thought to be staying at a central London flat.
