Richelle Olson has claimed that an altercation occurred when Cohen appeared as his alter-ego along with his film crew at a bingo game in Palmdale, California in 2007.
Olson's attorney said that the actions of the actor "resulted in life-altering injuries" to his client.
"My focus is her well-being and to secure a fair, just and equitable remedy for her claims," lawyer Kyle Madison said.
He added: "This claim is distinguishable from Mr Cohen's previous lawsuits as a defendant. I ask the media to respect the privacy of my client and her family during this ongoing and difficult situation."
Olson has alleged that she was so shaken by the incident she passed out and hit her head on a concrete floor, leading to "brain bleeds" and her confinement to a wheelchair.
