Sven Goran Eriksson and Nancy Dell'Olio are planning to marry, the News of the World reports today.
The pair are trying to get their marriage back on track after newspaper allegations about Sven's affair with FA secretary Faria Alam.
A friend told the newspaper, "There's been talk about slipping away to marry quietly but they also know that will quickly become public knowledge. Of course we all expect Nancy to want a ceremony with all the bells and whistles.
"She's not going to miss the chance of her biggest day, in her most glorious gown, thumbing her nose at all her rivals and saying, 'You may have wanted him but I'm the one he comes home to'. She's going to enjoy every minute of this."
