Price: 'I'm not having a meltdown'

Katie Price has dismissed speculation that she is heading for a "meltdown" following her split from Peter Andre.

The former glamour model was alleged to be crumbling under the pressure of her separation, with friends claiming that she was struggling to sleep and eat and that she had turned to booze to cope.

However, a publicist for Price has told the Daily Mail that the tabloid reports are untrue, saying: "'Kate saw the claims and of course it is not nice for her but she knows that they are unfounded and she is carrying on as normal."

Price, 31, was photographed visiting her local supermarket yesterday with children Princess, 22 months, and three-year-old Junior, after reportedly pulling out of an appearance at Capital FM's Summertime Ball.

A publicist for her estranged husband claimed that had spent the weekend rehearsing, and was scheduled to move into his new home today, before flying to Hong Kong tomorrow.
