Ramsay 'called broadcaster a lesbian pig'

Tracey Grimshaw has responded to a verbal attack from celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

Ramsay is said to have made the comments at a food and wine show on Saturday after being interviewed by the journalist on ACA show A Current Affair the previous day.

He reportedly held up a manipulated photograph of a naked woman with the features of a pig and told onlookers that the image was of Grimshaw, who he also called "a lesbian" and "an ugly old pig".

Ramsay continued: "I had an interview with her yesterday - holy c**p, she needs to see Simon Cowell's Botox doctor."

Speaking on her show, Grimshaw said: "I spent all yesterday considering how to respond and I honestly thought about saying nothing at all, but we all know bullies thrive when no one takes them on.

"And I'm not going to sit meekly and let some arrogant narcissist bully me. Obviously Gordon thinks that any woman that doesn't find him attractive must be gay. For the record, I don't and I'm not."
