The actor's body was discovered last Thursday in his luxury suite at Bangkok's Swissotel Nai Lert Park hotel.
Police initially suspected that the Kung Fu star had committed suicide, but have since claimed that it could have been a result of accidental suffocation after revealing that he was found with a rope tied around his wrist, neck and genitals.
The conditions of Carradine's death have lead to suggestions that he died while participating in auto-erotic asphyxiation.
"If the FBI wants to get involved, we will do our best to cooperate. We have nothing to hide," major general Amnuay Nimmano told reporters.
The US investigative body has not announced if it will take part in the investigation, Access Hollywood reports.
Nimmano also refused to comment on the claims that the Kill Bill actor passed away from the sex act.
"The previous conclusions on the cause of death were made by people who knew nothing about the case," he said.
