Gomez denies 'Twilight' Lautner romance

Selena Gomez has laughed off reports that she is dating Twilight star Taylor Lautner.

The Wizards Of Waverly Place actress has been linked with Lautner, who plays werewolf Jacob Black in the vampire saga, since the pair were spotted together near the film's set in Vancouver.

Speaking to Extra, she said: "He's one of my good friends. [But] I'm single, definitely single."

The 16-year-old recently admitted to finally understanding the Twilight craze, telling reporters: "I can totally see the Robert Pattinson thing now, that's for sure!"

Gomez is currently working on her as-yet-untitled debut album which is expected to hit stores in September.
