Terrence Howard stops traffic to save bird

Terrence Howard has helped save a baby bird in LA, it has been reported.

The actor stopped six lanes of traffic to ensure that the creature would make it across the street, The New York Post reports.

The Hustle & Flow star spotted the bird when it "was walking in front of a bus" and someone came out of the Mikimoto jewellery store in Beverly Hills to assist it.

He then helped the unidentified citizen save the animal by "holding his hands up and stopping until the bird was out of harm's way".

Last month, Channing Tatum described Fighting co-star Howard as "one of the mad ones".
