Carradine ex-wife: 'David had a dark side'

David Carradine's ex-wife Marina Anderson has revealed that the late actor had a "dark side".

In an interview with Access Hollywood, Anderson said that the Kung Fu star had an "intense" edge to his personality.

"There was a dark side to David. People around him knew that," she explained.

Anderson's divorce documents from Carradine also surfaced last week. The papers identify his "abhorrent and sexual behaviour" as the reason for the couple's divorce.

"His deviate behaviour includes an incestuous relationship with a very close family member, which permeated our marriage. This is to his admission and the admission of the person involved," Anderson said in the documents.

Despite their separation, Carradine's ex-wife insisted that she had "great memories of him, in spite of other stuff".

"The most fun we had was away from everybody, away from Hollywood. That was just heaven," she said.

The actor died in his hotel room in Bangkok last Thursday under suspicious circumstances.
