Hugh Jackman receives 'X-rated gift'

Hugh Jackman has received a gift of deleted X-Men Origins: Wolverine outtakes featuring him in the nude.

The unused footage showed the actor in various states of undress while he performed stunts on the latest instalment of the superhero mutant franchise. It was presented to him at the end of production on the film, the New York Post reports.

He said: "There was lots of footage where you really can't show those naked bits. So what they've done is give me my privates in a bag."

Jackman revealed that he plans to view the outtakes, saying: "I shall let them out to play now and then".

The Australia star will star in Broadway play A Steady Rain with Daniel Craig this autumn.
