Malone: 'I'll look like Pammy by Xmas'

Shameless star Tina Malone has vowed to look like Pamela Anderson before the year is over.

The actress, who plays Mimi Maguire on the Channel 4 show, recently had a gastric band fitted and she is now making plans for various cosmetic procedures over the coming months.

Speaking to Take 5 magazine, she explained: "Since my gastric band I've lost 5st 2lbs. I've got another three and a half stone to go. I'm in the middle of a total body makeover with a place called The Hospital Group.

"As well as the weight loss, I've had facial fillers. I'm having another gastric balloon in a week, then I'm having my boobs done and a tummy tuck. I'm going to be a size 10 - basically I'm going to be Pamela Anderson by December!"

Malone also insisted that she does not regret discussing her body image issues with her fellow Celebrity Big Brother contestants in January.

"I was talking to a group of women and that's how women talk to each other," she explained. "I was saying I wanted to lose weight around my mound, which I did."

Shameless recently completed its sixth run on Channel 4.
