Stevens 'mugged for engagement ring'

Rachel Stevens has reportedly been mugged for her engagement ring on the doorstep of her own flat.

The Strictly Come Dancing star was said to be badly shaken after the incident at 4pm near Regent's Park, London after thieves took her ring, a necklace and Rolex watch, The Sun reports.

Stevens's spokeswoman Charlotte Hickson said: "Rachel did experience an intrusion and is shaken but otherwise okay."

She called the police and gave a description of the muggers, who had fled the scene in a car.

Last year, Stevens postponed her wedding to Alex Bourne because of her Strictly commitments.
