Paris dumps "future husband" Reinhardt

Paris Hilton has dumped her actor boyfriend Doug Reinhardt, it has emerged.

The 28-year-old's spokesperson confirmed that the pair have parted ways and asked for the public to respect Hilton's privacy.

"In response to the enquiry on whether Paris Hilton has split up with Doug Reinhardt, yes, this is true they are no longer together," he told People.

"They remain friends and ask that you please respect their privacy."

Hilton has been dating The Hills star Reinhardt since December 2008. She previously declared her intention to marry him in the summer.

The socialite described Reinhardt as "hotter" than Brad Pitt during a US TV appearance earlier this week.
