Bald Spector 'turns to God in prison'

Phil Spector has reportedly turned to God since he was imprisoned for second-degree murder.

According to his publicist Hal Lifson, the Jewish Wall Of Sound producer has been wearing a skullcap in jail and receives only kosher food at meal times.

He is also said to have regular meetings with the prison rabbi, The AP reports.

Meanwhile, the US Department of Corrections has distributed a new mugshot of Spector without any of his famous wigs as part of a policy to increase transparency in public information.

Spector's wife Rachelle said: "They took my husband's freedom and dignity. So why not his hair?

"This is a personal matter. But in case you don't know, they don't allow for much accessorising while in prison."
