Usher files for divorce from wife?

A US tabloid has fuelled speculation that Usher has split from his wife Tameka Foster.

According to In Touch, the R&B star has filed for divorce after nearly two years of marriage. It is also claimed that the couple have been living apart for nearly a year.

However, sources close to Foster told TMZ that she has yet to receive any divorce papers, although they confirmed that she has not spoken to her husband for "a few days".

A court official also claimed that no divorce proceedings have been initiated by the singer.

A representative for the couple has yet to comment.

Usher and Foster married at a lawyer's office in Atlanta in August 2007. They have two children together: Usher Raymond V, 18 months, and six-month-old Naviyd.
