Spears, Federline rework custody details

Britney Spears and ex-husband Kevin Federline have reworked the details of their sons' custody to fit in with her world tour.

The couple currently share custody of three-year-old Sean Preston and Jayden James, two, although recent reports had suggested that the 'Womanizer' star had been granted greater access for the duration of her tour.

Speaking to E! News, Federline's attorney Mark Kaplan said: "The whole plan and structure of the tour as it's related to custody was that the venues are in a hub... so that Kevin can be in that area [on] days where the kids are going to be with Britney.

"They don't sacrifice her commitments to a particular venue and... the kids, while the house might look different, the scenery might look different, the custodial time with the parents doesn't look different."

Kaplan refused to reveal details of the couple's current custodial arrangements, saying only that it "was not a 50-50 split".

He went on to say that the reworked agreement would likely stay in place for Spears's recently announced tour of Australia.

Both parties have now submitted their temporary changes to the Los Angeles Superior Court's family commissioner, who has agreed to the deal.
